CHANEL - 2024/25 Cruise Fashion Show

Just a few days after its visit to the Cité Phocéenne, the city is bathed in the scent of a rare elegance and delicacy left by CHANEL.

From Le Corbusier's Cité Radieuse to Marseille's most emblematic landmarks, this multicultural journey has not forgotten the work we've been doing in the fashion world for the past 10 years, here in the provinces.

Initially set up in a butcher's shop, the shop quickly became a showcase for the talent of emerging designers such as Simon Porte Jacquemus, Anthony Vaccarello (YSL), Charlotte Chesnais, Gleen Martens and others.

Jogging has developed a unique style, based on a place and its history, and in this vein has set up a guest house and artists' residence in Samena, which welcomed Marion Barbeau in 2021, then opened a type E cell in Le Corbusier that respects the origin and history of the place, before recently inaugurating Galerie 1993 (Bella Hunt Southway Studio and Karine Rougier).

Jogging is also home to Chef(fes) residencies that have seen the likes of Ella Affalo and David Mijoba, who have also been called upon by the company.

"In the beginning, the driving force is always energy, enthusiasm and desire, but as time goes by, you realise that it's the heart and love you put into what you're doing that enables you to experience such great and beautiful moments as the one on 02 May 2024 with great serenity. Somewhere in this whirlwind of beauty, contemplating the intoxicating joy of all these guests who had come to meet Marseille and what we are, with immense respect, I sat down in this jogging garden which is the link, telling myself that after all we've been through in our history, we could savour our work a little more and wear this moment, the coming of CHANEL, as a recognition like no other".
