X-MAS, the incredible story of our Christmas window display told by Olivier Amsellem, co-founder of Jogging.
It all began the day Marseille-based designer Axel Chay contacted us with a prototype of the J Lampe for Jogging. We already had in mind a collaboration with Hermes Pontet, another talented eyewear designer who bears his name. The idea took shape during the Hyeres International Fashion Festival, when Magali Guerin introduced us to Lucas Bauer - she loves his jewelry, and he's from Marseille. To do so, we needed a touch of madness and pep to co-create the event with us. That's when Jean Pierre Marois, director of Les Bains in Paris, contacted us to propose the first in-store distribution of his eaux de parfums, Les Bains Guerbois. The next step was to find the magician able of sublimating their talents. A few days earlier, Olivier Amsellem came across a story about his friend, painter and sculptor Olivier Huard, sculpting polystyrene. Completely captivated by what he saw, he decided to contact the artist and ask him to collaborate on the showcase. A few hours later, the two 30-year-old friends agreed to create the window display, which was installed a few hours before the event. It's the magic of Christmas!
We'd like to thank you, designers, artists, brands, guests and all the Jogging teams, for sharing in the happiness you've given Jogging during this wonderful evening, with your presence, participation and encouragement. We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and we'll be open every day up to and including December 24, as well as our restaurant to welcome you for lunch or a delicious chocolate.
Merry Christmas
