A Marseilles adventure between Fashion, Art and Gastronomy
In 2014, fashion photographer Olivier Amsellem and former Marseille Provence 2013 coordinator Charlotte Brunet decided to shake up retail codes by launching JoggingJogging. Nestled at 103 & 107 rue Paradis, Marseille, this hybrid space goes beyond the simple concept store to become a true cultural experience.
From the outset, Jogging has identified and promoted up-and-coming designers. Today's leading names such as Jacquemus, Marine Serre and Charlotte Chesnais were among the first designers referenced by the brand. Far from being a classic boutique, Jogging has established itself as a laboratory of ideas, where fashion rubs shoulders with art, design and gastronomy.
The choice of collections has always been made in a spirit of daring and exclusivity, offering a cutting-edge selection of emerging brands and independent designers. Each piece has a story.
Beyond fashion, Jogging quickly made contemporary art part of its DNA, with the opening of Galerie 1993 in 2023, which has hosted numerous exhibitions, including #Balancetonoeuvre, “the most eagerly awaited exhibition of the season”.
At the same time, Jogging has multiplied its events to enliven the local scene and reinforce its role as a cultural player. Numerous collection launches, exclusive collaborations and exhibitions have marked these 10 years, making the address a meeting point for fashion and art lovers.
Highlights include
• Collaboration with Aries for an exclusive collection.
• Collection launches with Hoka and Suicoke.
• Participation in the Chanel 2024/25 fashion show.
• Events and art exhibitions, such as Sonia Sieff's recent “Rendez-vous!
…
In 2016, Jogging added a gastronomic dimension to its concept, with a restaurant. The idea? Extend the shopping experience by offering cuisine inspired by local, seasonal produce. Today, it's a Milanese-inspired Trattoria at 103 Rue Paradis.
In 2020, then 2023, Jogging has taken another step forward by opening two guest rooms, the first in the Samena cove, offering a unique experience to visitors in search of an inspiring Mediterranean stay, and the second in Le Corbusier's Cité Radieuse.
Today, after 10 years in business, JoggingJogging is more than a boutique: it's a crossroads of influences, a place where fashion, art and gastronomy meet, rooted in the creative energy of Marseille.
